As well as a large and comfortable bar, and several individual lounge areas, there are two main dining options at the Alexandra Hotel. Utilising as many local ingredients as we can and allowing the vast array of dishes local to the area to influence our menus, our food is something we take pride in. From the Linnhe Restaurant, to the more informal dining atmosphere of the Bistro, you’re sure to find something to tempt your palate.

Linnhe Restaurant

 

Dine in the light and airy Linnhe Restaurant and enjoy a 3-course table d’hote set menu in the evening. There are also some tasty daily-changing, freshly made, supplement dishes to tempt you with good selection of wines from around the world to choose from to compliment your meal.

We advise that you let us know if you wish to dine in the Restaurant during your stay so we can advise you of the best times available to avoid any busy periods. Please also do let us know of any dietary restrictions in advance of your stay with us. Our menus do offer common allergy ingredient indications.

The Bistro at the Alex

 

Our Head Chef, Martin Gray, and his dynamic team would like to warmly welcome you to The Bistro at the Alex. The 80 seater restaurant is open daily and whether it be for a filling lunch or a relaxed delicious evening meal, The Bistro is the place to be.

Our menu gives you a wide variety of dishes to choose from. We use the Best of Local Produce, from hearty steaks supplied by ‘Lochaber Game’ to delicious seafood landed at the West Coast Port of Mallaig.

Low fat dishes for the health conscious are available as well as tasty desserts to tempt! Relax and enjoy the dining experience of the Bistro.
